The Secret To Healthy Hair

Healthy hair begins at the scalp—not at the ends.

Healthy hair begins where most routines stop paying attention—the scalp. We spoke with a stylist of twelve years to discover what truly improves hair health over the long term.

Start at the root

A congested scalp can limit healthy hair growth much like clogged pores affect your skin. A gentle weekly scalp massage with a lightweight oil helps improve circulation and allows active ingredients to reach the follicles instead of remaining on the hair strands.

  • Brush from the ends upward instead of from the roots down to reduce breakage.
  • Use a wide-tooth comb on wet hair because hair is most fragile when damp.
  • Trim your hair every 8–10 weeks, even if you're trying to grow it longer.

People often focus on growing longer hair and forget that healthy hair grows faster because it breaks less.
